While this does sacrifice some of the chaos and energy of the original, restricting to only one instrument also allows greater focus on the dynamics and emotional power of the song. No other Kirby boss theme went for as great a depth of melancholy as this one until the Star Conquering Traveller's Suite (which will be a later single), and perhaps it's that appeal to our heartstrings that makes it stand out.
