At long last, after 3 months of arranging and another 5 months of recording I'm absolutely ecstatic to present Kirby's Super Dream Piano - a set of 60 piano covers spanning nearly the entire series from Dream Land up to Star Allies! This project was inspired by replaying Kirby's Dream Collection over the 2021 Winter holidays and thinking about what a great musical history the included 45-track CD was. But at this point that's 10 years old and missing a large number of excellent arrangements, so we decided why not cover that whole album and then add on some more songs to update it? Ultimately completing 60 multi-instrumental covers in less than a few years would have been unviable, but I've been wanting to practice my piano more anyways so that seemed the perfect medium for performing these pieces! As the group's pianist I naturally did most of the arranging and recording, but significant track revisions and general quality control were taken care of by Nicole and Chris and Chloe made the absolutely super album artwork, culminating in arguably our most polished production yet!
