And here we are, the bonus map. Regrettably, I can't actually beat this map. Not that I didn't try at all, mind ya. It's just that the barely enough ammo provided by the map and the supplies I brought weren't quite enough to handle 703 of the funny skellies. No armor bonuses too, meaning no gunpowder mixing for extra ammo (those first map supplies could've really helped if I didn't got death-exited). I think I got the final count to about 610, but that's about as far as I go. Could I have turned this around? Possibly. DSin's mantling system is different from HDest in that you can hang around while you're mantling, and you can still technically do a lot of things even while mantling, like what I did for a good several minutes here. If I had more patience and hard-drive space, I could probably sit here for an hour or two just using melee on the horde until the frontline's cleared, maybe then I'll have just enough ammo to clear off the other side. What I managed is what I get, sadly, so this is pretty much it. All in all, I had fun with the mapset. The one enemy here is frankly the cheapest thing in terms of reaction and speed (not to mention the RNG damage), but I guess if it wasn't, the mapset wouldn't have been as scary. Quite surprised that the stingy ammo drops actually worked out decently enough with DSin, even if the last map didn't go so well. Heck, one could argue even if I did clear the map, there's no exit out of here anyways, so it's no perfect run no matter how one cuts it.
