Amid the footage of a family's trip to Hawaii, I came across a night of entertainment at a luau on Kaua'i. While the origins of this reel is unknown to me, my family was able to identify the location as The Smith's Tropical Paradise Show sometime in the 1970's. (My cousin's use to perform there during the summers in the late 80's.) The song: Gorila - Akaido ------------------------ _8mm will feature a weekly upload of home movies or found footage. Our goal is to bring life back into those forgotten moments.
