I graduated from this high school (Olivia McCandless, class of '96), and so did my twin brothers (Donald and David McCandless, class of '94), my dad and my mom in (Walter McCandless and Amy Johnson, class of '68), my aunts on both sides, and some of my cousins. My mother taught biology here for about 20 years (Mrs. (Amy) McCandless) and my grandfather (Mr. Hillard McCandless) taught math and science there decades ago, back when they still used paddles as corporal punishment...He was apparently well known for having his students sign his paddle!
