acelaphillies's video: Farewell to the Amtrak AEM-7 Final Revenue Run

@Farewell to the Amtrak AEM-7 | Final Revenue Run
June 18, 2016 Marcus Hook, PA & Prospect Park, PA Here is some older footage of Amtrak's Farewell to the AEM-7 train. The train marked the official retirement of the AEM-7 locomotives from Amtrak passenger service. The first video is taken from the SEPTA Station in Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania as the train goes northbound. You will notice that the old Sunoco tower in the background has been removed at this point. The second video is taken from the SEPTA Prospect Park-Moore station in Prospect Park, Pennsylvania. Here the train is going southbound. The train consisted of two AEM-7 locomotives and Amfleet cars. You will also notice that the Amtrak President's Car, the 10001 Beech Grove is on the rear of the train. The Beech Grove is also now painted in the Phase III paint scheme. This marks the end of the "Toaster" era. They sure were fun to watch, and hopefully the ACS-64 has just as successful of a career. Thanks to the friendly engineer for the horn salutes, and thanks for watching! Please rate, comment, and subscribe!
