admiralty edits's video: rockstar hawks

⚠️ EXPLICIT LANGUAGE ⚠️ This was just a quick edit I threw together after hearing this song for the first time. Hawks is a super interesting character to me. He's objectively very successful, but he's under a ton of pressure that almost no one sees. Being the hero at age 22 would be hard for anyone to handle, and that's without double agent work, plus his tragic backstory that means he really has no support structure outside of the Hero Public Safety Commission (who very much do not have his best interests at heart). His irreverent badass part is fun to edit, too, but I'm definitely poking at the cracks in the image here. I think this is the first fully anime video on my channel?? It's the first BNHA edit I've finished, although I have a few in the works and several planned for when Heroes Rising is out. I also have plans to edit Assassination Classroom, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Attack on Titan at some point. Also! I at some point developed an aversion to having any moving mouths in an edit without the corresponding VO and Hawks. TALKS. so. much. Then I realized I'd accidentally synced his mouth to the lyrics in one section and ran with that! So much easier to deal with an animated source and an edit that wasn't taking itself too seriously.
