Obviously, the Marauders Era is not something we've seen much of on the big screen, or even in the Harry Potter books, but the little we know paints a very intriguing picture. The Mischief Managers have created a version of that story that I really enjoy, and my favorite part of their portrayal (although there's much to appreciate) is Peter Pettigrew. Before I watched their content, I hadn't really given Wormtail a lot of thought. He was just the one who betrayed James and Lily and was generally pretty pathetic. Mattias's Peter is a genuinely likable person, and that makes what you know is going to happen just so much worse! After all, a betrayal has much more impact when the relationship you're betraying was real and significant. The tension between that friendship and the developing betrayal is what I wanted to focus on in this video. Also, I had a really hard time settling on the look of this video, and the one I decided on is a lot more drastic than I generally go for, so I hope it works for y'all!
