@[PC] The Sacred Rings (2007) - Full Playthrough
The Sacred Rings (aka Aura II: The Sacred Rings) Platform: PC Content information: Mild violence and ghosts shown on-screen. Some torture instruments shown but not used. Some references to murder and suicide (not shown on-screen). Recorded on VMWare Workstation emulating Windows XP. Adventure game playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLL6IvCPYLqOXm-E-peJ-sVjmt8EOXQ83x This game is the sequel to Aura: Fate of the Ages. However, the art style looks almost nothing like the original game (aside from the environments), and it features none of the same characters aside from the protagonist, who looks like a completely different person compared to how he looked in Aura. This game is a lot longer than the first game if you don't know what you're doing and most of that is due to excessive backtracking. Everything feels like it's so far away from everything else, and you're constantly forced to go back and forth between them. It has really nice environments though and a few of the puzzles are clever. The candle puzzle in the graveyard is probably my favorite, and if every puzzle in this game was as good as that one I'd consider it an extremely underrated classic. The Sacred Rings is split into three main areas. Timestamps for each area will be listed below. Part 1: Nikifor's House - 5:44 Part 2: Manula Valley - 56:00 Part 3: Keepers' Palace - 2:03:06
