Aside from making RHEM II available on Steam and other digital services for the first time, this version also adds additional bonus content in the form of a new area with original puzzles. The bonus area in this game appears to take place in the same region of RHEM as the next game in the series, RHEM III: The Secret Library. The RHEM series is created, designed, and programmed by Knut Müller, a German composer and independent game developer. Aside from RHEM, he has also created a game in collaboration with Robert Wolff called Lisssn, a music themed adventure game with many similarities in style and tone to RHEM.
