This is the original 1998 release, as opposed to the 2010 remake. Like the other games in the series, it blends puzzle, adventure, and crime mystery. This game also features lots of word puzzles and riddles, an element which would be downplayed in later entries to the series. I showed off most of the important ones in this video, but there are a few I may have missed as they're all over the place, giving you hints and sometimes vital clues on how to solve the puzzles in the game. I'm sure there are plenty of other playthroughs of this game on Youtube, but I've just started playing this series for the first time (aside from the other game I have uploaded, which was a random blind buy from a book store), so I decided to record a playthrough of this one after I finished it. So far, I'm very impressed with these games, and it's hard to believe a series with over 30 entries can be as consistently well-written and interesting as the Nancy Drew games are. There is also a Remastered version of this game in particular, but I haven't played it yet.
