aipolitics2's video: Early 4K 60fps Performance AC: Origins: 1080 Ti

@Early 4K 60fps Performance, AC: Origins: 1080 Ti
Not playing in 4K 60fps? Please read the asterisked segment, below* This is how the game has performed, for me, at 4K 60fps, with a 1080 Ti, at the start of the game. (past the tutorial, but still too early to definitely say how the entire game plays) I'm going to do a series of videos, updating you guys, on how the game's doing, while I work the "true" performance of the title out. I do show the settings, I'm using, in this video, and many of them are maxed out or nearly maxed out. The game will not keep 4K 60fps, when maxed out, with an i7 and 1080 Ti, but it does come close to being maxed out, with a few exceptions. Settings are shown at 7:00. I show some of the quirks, of the game engine, in this video, and I give my overall impressions of the performance, so far. UPDATE: As I've progressed, some cutscenes have had fluctuating performance (drops to the 40's, for frame rate), and busy missions, with lots of guards chasing me, see performance in the low to mid 50's. Some of these kinds of frame drops are shown, in this video, but in busy and complicated missions, the frame drops can happen more frequently, than what this video shows. Both of these things have been acceptable, to me so far. Not the greatest thing to have happen, but considering this is a fresh game and the settings are fairly nicely cranked, at 4K, it hasn't been "that" bothersome, yet. I'll keep playing and updating, as time goes. *Not playing in 4K 60fps, for you? YouTube can be VERY inconsistent when it comes to playing at any resolution and frame rate configuration, above 1080p 60fps. As of right now, this video plays at 1440p, on my iPad Pro, Galaxy Tab S8, and Galaxy S6. (two tablets and a smartphone) ....Now that the video's been up, a couple days, it's only playing at 1080p 60fps, on my iOS devices. If I had rendered this video, at 30fps, I'm fairly certain it would do 1440p resolution, on iOS devices. For some reason, my 4K 60fps videos, don't always play, in 4K, on iOS devices. I might consider reuploading this video, at 30fps, for the iOS users, who want to see the video, at a higher resolution. It plays in 4K 60fps, in the Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, on a computer. (I have not tested other browsers, just yet) In my subjective opinion, the video looks the sharpest and most vibrant, when viewed on Android OLED screens. It looks "okay," on my iPad Pro, and it doesn't look as sharp as the source video, when viewing, on a computer. Please consider adjusting your screen brightness, to better see the textures and details. Let me know how the video plays, for you guys, and what device/browser/app you're using to watch it. Hopefully, it's helpful and/or enjoyable, for you.
