aipolitics2's video: How Good is the PS4 Pro for 4K gaming -- PS4 Pro 4K Gaming Review

As someone who's spent a fair amount of time and effort playing PC games, in 4K, I thought it'd be a good idea for me to try "4K gaming," with the PS4 Pro, and see how it can do. This video focuses on how the machine does, when hooked up to a 4K TV. It makes an "okay" movie player, but I don't find it to be a satisfying one. And it has some PRO's and some CON's, when it comes to gaming, on it, with a 1080p TV. So, the focus here, is how well it does for gaming, on a 4K television. (and I know I said, in the video that it wouldn't be a review, but it turned into one) If you want the TLDR: It's not bad, for how much it costs. I'm overall satisfied with it, despite the fact that most games are NOT running in true, native 4K, and almost all of the "4K" titles will be playing at around 30fps. With that said, some of the games genuinely do look impressive, and a lot of the games play well enough for me to get past the frame rate issues. But... Some games are actually kind of terrible, on the PS4 Pro, in my opinion. (really only one comes to mind, and that's Shadow of Mordor, due to the 30fps frame rate and the heavy use of motion blur... the game looks good, but I can't stand actually playing it, due to how much smearing there is, when the camera moves) While Shadow of Mordor is the only game that I flat out don't like, on the system, there is a concern that some games end up with better Pro ports than others. Some are flat out great, while others are just okay. If you game on a PC, you can buy as much hardware as you need, and you can tweak as many settings as you have to, to make the game look and feel how you want it to. With a console, you do not have that option. You have to just hope the developers make the right choices, when it comes to tuning the games, for you. Luckily, out of the dozen or so games I've tested, the developers have made some pretty good choices, so far.
