"We've got an emergency! Viruses have appeared in the school! Slash and defeat the specified virus type to make your quota and clear the stage! If you shake your arm and fill up the gauge, you can dash forward up to 3 times!" Now that you know how to push buttons, it's time to swing those arms around! This game will prep you for the "arm up" and "arm across" motions used throughout the game, as well as Sword mode in Free Battle. Basically, you'll be swinging your forearm left and right in a "V"-pattern as you aim your attacks. Ideally, you'll want to start at "arm up", and swivel your forearm downward at your elbow to assume "arm across". It helps to use your shoulders as a guide when switching between left and right too. If you're ever in doubt, don't be afraid to swing a little wide to get the game to register your movements! Like Virus Shooting, it's not the most complex game, but the different enemy patterns do just enough to keep you on your toes. It can be fun trying to see how fast you can clear the game, and timing your dashes to help shave off time for a nicer clear bonus. Your prize for clearing these minigames are the "Wide Sword", "Long Sword", and "Blazing Edge" Battle Cards. These allow you to change your sword type in Free Battle, with the harder difficulty cards doing more and more damage. Unlike the shot types, there's no real difference or need to toggle between swords; the game will always start you off with the strongest sword you have during Free Battle.
