aleckirstein's video: Tumen Ekh Mongolian National Song Dance Ensemble full performance part 3

@Tumen Ekh Mongolian National Song & Dance Ensemble, full performance (part 3)
This professional troupe of performers brilliantly displays various Mongolian folk arts such as Tuva (throat singing), Mongolian long song, morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), shaman and ritualistic mask dances, and ensemble musical performance. This show will transport you to the nomadic steppes of Mongolia and all the beauty that is found there. It is truly a magical place! This portion of the recording opens with the full musical ensemble playing some modern tunes (plus a bit of ragtime!), a pair of contortionists, and culminates with the show finale, an epic ritual Tsam mask dance, awash with color. Some of the instruments shown are: Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle) Shudraga (plucked three-stringed instrument) Tobshuur (two-stringed skinned fiddle) Yatug-a (zither) Yoochin (hammered dulcimer) Ever Buree (horn-shaped clarinet) Bayalag Buree (straight clarinet) Limbe (flute) Tsuur (flute) Bishguur (double-reed wind instrument) Tuur (frame drum) This video was filmed at the Tumen Ekh home theatre in Ulaanbataar, Mongolia. I paid for a press pass, authorizing this recording. Part 1: https://youtu.be/O862YX7RvzY Part 2: https://youtu.be/UlRBgPrfPRc Part 3: https://youtu.be/r9XvjhiMvy4
