Loved the live episode and really wanted to vid it! Paula, Jack and Tina were wonderful - Tina was a surprise but she was absolutely phenomenal and on par with Paula which was quite an achievement and made it really compelling viewing. I loved using those three staple characters who have such a rich history on the show. I also loved the Roy stuff - David Neilson is a wonderful actor and another key part of the show - he real tugged at the heartstrings, and his scenes with Carla were, as always, divine. Ali King was brilliant in her role, and those characters work so well together. The Webster strand, I also loved, although I would have liked to see more of it if I'm being honest. Sally Dynevor is always great and nailed the crying! Sophie provided great support - and I just adore watching that character group. I was shocked that Callum was killed off so early but really liked the twist - as it was about how these characters we love dealt with it. Jack nailed the humour as well as the tragedy. My stand out performer however would have to be Paula Lane, who for me personally, edged it over Tina - mainly because she had more to do than Tina who exited the Platt house fairly quickly, leaving Paula and Jack the two handers. Out of these two, Paula was given more range in terms of emotion and power, therefore she was my star performer although Jack's combination of comedy and drama was absolutely superb, and together, that pairing is absolute genius and the fact it still works so beautifully is testament to the two actors. Hope you enjoy the video and please give me some feedback! Although I would have loved to draw upon older content, I wanted this to be a showcase of pure live material.
