The Canadian Alliance for Sex Work Law Reform have launched a second constitutional challenge to the 2014 prostitution laws, or Bill C-36. This comes eight years after the Supreme Court of Canada struck down the former laws because it put workers in danger. The constitutional challenge calls for the court to strike down sex work law prohibitions against impeding traffic, public communication, purchasing, materially benefiting, recruiting and advertising sexual services.
