Erie's Artarama's video: Car Hood - Peel Coat

@Car Hood - Peel Coat
I used Rustoleum Peel Coat as the undercoat for my car hood painting. This paint is formulated to peel off of car paint and when used as directed without putting anything on top of it, it works as described. When regular spray paint is put on over top of it, it doesn't really peel, though it can be removed... it just takes a long time and some careful patience. I bought the paint at Walmart in the US. You can also get it on the Walmart website. I started using the glossy paint with this, but got a lot more coverage with the matte paint, and if you hit it with a glossy top coat of plain spray paint it works about the same. Make sure you COVER YOUR CAR. There will be cast off - the more you cover of the car the better. I've got a line on the top of my car where the end of my tarp was. Follow the directions on the can, don't over spray (which I did). I keep it at like 4-5 coats - because I hope that it's easier to peel off.
