Firstly I would like to wish the lifeline of our nation : The Great Indian Railways a very Happy 167th Birthday . May you continue to serve our great nation for a long long time to come. On this special occasion I would like to present a fresh video that will sure blow everyone's mind away. It is a common sight in our railway network to see the road traffic take a halt at any level crossing only give way to the speeding trains who in just brink of seconds sprints past the spot. But if I tell you that there exists a scenario where the traffic forced the train to take a halt at level crossing you will all say that I am kidding. A very rare scenario was witnessed by me when I was on short evening RF expedition at Chhata station. As the sun bid goodbye and as the dusk started engulfing the station area..in came the moment when the aggressive August Kranti Rajdhani was to make an appearance. That day as it was running slightly late so my optimism level reached at it's peak to see it blazing past me at 130 kmph speed. Just as the 12190 Mahakoshal Express flew past us.. the level crossing was opened for traffic to pass and the traffic was so damn heavy that day that it literally clogged the tracks in no time. The rush was so huge that I was not seeing any sign of it's receding. To my utter horror I saw a white beast in the form of WAP-7 approaching from the north end and I was certain that this was none other than August Kranti Rajdhani. It was as if someone had rubbed salt into my wounds when I horrifyingly saw WAP-7 take a halt just at the brink of the level crossing as the traffic still showed no signs of stopping. All were in huge rush as that level crossing was the only path to reach to Goverdhan. As the LP's took some rest, the gateman was literally going nuts trying every possible effort to bring the traffic to a standstill but all in vain. Finally after 7 minutes of patient wait, the gateman was finally able to control the traffic and close the gates so as to allow the standing 12954 August Kranti Rajdhani to proceed with it's journey. Just as the LP cleared the Level crossing spot, they started accelerating smoothly and the BRC WAP-7 led 12954 August Kranti Rajdhani Express crawled past me at over 70 km/hr speed as the dejected LP's smoothly throttled to attain the MPS. What a pitiful sight it was for me and for Jaskaran Singh and Aditya Kaushal..we were expecting a flat 130 kmph show but ended up witnessing this bizarre sight.
