ankicat's video: MASHUP SF9 ATEEZ - SUMMER BREEZE HORIZON

Description: I've literally been hooked on SF9's latest release: Summer Breeze! It's actually really interesting how they mixed a lot of genres from "acoustic vibes" to "deep house" in the same song. Plus, the concept too was just ... yes. We also got squishy Hwiyoung and Chani actually singing this comeback! Even though they only really had their one segment in the pre-chorus, it's one of my favourite parts anyways :'). Wowie, everything about the song and the music video is just chef's kiss. Not gonna lie, I didn't intend to mash this song up with Horizon, it just came as a recommendation in "Tunebat," which is a website I use to get info in the key and BPM of the song. Horizon was listed as a song that would mix well, so I tried it out. Though I didn't expect it to work as well as it did -- I can never make Horizon work in any of my mashups (hence why they're never released ehe). Also the overall arrangement of the mashup was due to my laziness -- e.g. I couldn't be arsed to download the instrumental and original audio of Horizon, and the acapella was already in my computer, so I used it. Additionally, there's a key change at the end. Tis also because I was lazy. My original mashup was pitching Horizon 1 semitone down and Summer Breeze 1 semitone up, but the quality was better when I pitched Horizon 2 semitones down and Summer Breeze as the original pitch. I got lazy at the end and decided to keep the original pitching arrangement for "stylistic effect." Was it needed? Prolly not, but hey, there's a first time for everything I suppose.
