Stay Well, AnnieQC74 (Pre-Olivia Spencer Otalia Guiding Light Era) Storyline Pre-Teen Lizzie Spaulding Original Air-Date:December 24th 1997. Harley confides to Frank that she asked Phillip to come by for Christmas but he decided to stay with Lizzie and somehow she is "losing the man she loves", because he's with Beth but Frank tells her Beth is no match to his little sister. Over at the Spaulding mansion, Annie thinks she will be getting her ring from Alan; which she finds tucked inside a gift briefcase that Alan surprises her with! Phillip is reading a story together with Lizzie in the foyer. Lizzie comments on how beautiful her Mommy looks, as Beth descends the staircase. Beth, too, invites Phillip up to her room for the purpose of presenting him with a very special, a very unique, and personalized Christmas gift - it was a book that he had started writing many years ago. Beth gets emotional; apologizesfor ruining things with them. Phillip states Beth was the one who wanted a divorce. Frustrated by the present situation - given Beth's mixed messages, and the mixed signals - Phillip warns Beth, "Don't Do This," before walking out on Beth, leaving her crying. Phillip then goes over to see Harley, and tells her about what just transpired with Beth earlier. Phillip lets Harley know that Beth was his past.
