15th March 2020 Radha Kalyana Mahotsavam..an annual event organised by TAMBRAS Salem for rejuvenating the spirit of the elderly inmates of the Mudhiyor Illam , Salem Chinna Thiruppathy The senior residents of the Home , despite the hot weather outside, had a respite from the heat, as the celestial marriage of Krishna with Radha was under way, bringing in an ambience of divinely bliss, under the stewardship of redoubtable Hosur Sri Krishnamoorthy Bhagavathar, steeped in the traditional Bhajana Sampradhayams, with the participation of well known bhagavathars of Salem- most revered Sri Rathinam Bhagavather, Ramakrishna Bhagavathar, Mani Anna, Bhaskar Anna... who are all exponents in the Bhajana Traditions on their own right.....It is heartening to see a brigade of young and energetic breed of bhagavathers singing out of their heart and soul, with immense passion and bhakthi bhavam....their electrifying performance took the audience along with them ensuring their total participation and identification with the event.....The sparkling performance of Sankaradas Bhagavathar, with mirudangam, was another highlight of the divinely event....the presence of Pammal Sri Ramakrishnan, the President Tamailnadu TAMBRAS, made the occasion all the more a memorable one...
