Thanks to George Hatcher of Glory Daze website fame. https://glorydazemusic.com/vf/ Yep, I know who they are. They are a South African band called Outland, who released their one-off album in 1991. It's pretty hard to track down. The song is called 'White Sugar', the lead singer is Nikki Smart and her partner in crime is guitarist Myles Shannon. Myles lives in Australia now. Mystery solved.
