I think SVP liked it by the end lmfao. As it should; this coloring is GORGEOUS (credit below), and - I'll talk more about it later. ALRIGHT so I actually wanted to do a long description for this one (shoutout to the, like, five people total who will/may read it!), so here we go: I started trying to edit HU to this song in early September. I was being too ambitious and didn't want to cut the song as I thought there were a lot of lyrics that would be epic for a HU video. But refusing to cut the song, plus the coloring being difficult, led to me abandoning the project for a while. However, I'd taken a screenshot of one of the clips I'd laid on the timeline and I made it my home and lock screen on my phone. As time went on and life happened and my focus was elsewhere, that aesthetic image would be the thing to remind me of HU every so often. And so, in late September, I gave this video another shot, saving it as a new project and resigning myself to cutting the song. And let me just say I am very happy I went for it! This coloring, guys... I feel it captures the *atmosphere* I was going for so well - it matches the song SO WELL. A black & white HU video... And it's my fourth video about them!! WOWOWOW. MAJOR shoutout to my German friend P for having so much fucking patience with me as I attempted to mash up two voiceovers in a language I do not speak and asked her about a thousand times if I'd done it properly to create the combo I was going for yet lmfao. I finally got it, thanks to her!! Also: THIS THUMBNAIL. How we feelin about it?? 👀 The fact I used kisses from all three seasons in this video 🥺🥺 And with this thumbnail, I now have kisses from all three seasons featured in different HU thumbnails. ❤️ (OH, and look at me, managing to render in 1080p.
