I made two videos with my king in recent months so it's only fair I start off the new year with my fave female character. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• First of all, we need to talk about THIS. SONG. I've known of the original for years, but it was only when I watched the video I'll link to below that I found this remix which just SCREAMS ice queen. I considered using voice overs during the instrumental beginning with the winter bells, but ultimately decided against it. I like the video as is. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• On Thursday, I was recommended a MultiQueens video I'll link to below. I knew the editors wouldn't use cartoons, but I was offended all the same when I clicked on the (epic masterpiece of a) video and the Queen of Queens wasn't there lmao. So I guess you could say that served as my inspiration! During the previous week, I knew I'd have some time coming up and I had a few ideas of videos I'd like to make. I selected this one, started it Friday night, worked on it alllll day Saturday, and here we are Sunday evening with the finished product! It was worth all the time and effort put into it. Something I noticed about myself is that when I edit I always try to use scenes with faces and bodily movement. I tend to avoid scenes where you're only seeing someone's hand or scenery. Obviously, I changed things up this time around lol. I realized that so many vidable moments in this show come from quiet shots of eyes or hands, and sometimes you can't just flip from one scene to the next because there's the clip of the girl herself summoning her magic, but then there's the execution of her attack which lasts for several seconds. That's something else I really worked on pushing my own boundaries with in this video. Also as usual I used mostly season one scenes as Season One Icy is the reigning queen of everything.
