Note from filmmaker: I highlighted her statement about him apologizing to his murderers knowing that the merits of the legal definition of "murder" in this case could probably be successfully argued against in a "legal sense" but that would be missing a much greater point. Like so many injustices in this world, we need less calculation and referring to inscriptions and more intuition and adherence to the heart. Law and ethics are different commitments.
