SpaceTime Flies's video: AMS Repair 2: Parmitano Morgan - U S EVA 60

@AMS Repair 2: Parmitano & Morgan - U.S. EVA 60
Edited NASA TV footage of U.S. EVA 60 aboard the International Space Station (ISS) (@Space_Station) on November 22, 2019. Expedition 61 ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano (@astro_luca) and NASA astronaut Drew Morgan (@AstroDrewMorgan) performed the EVA. This was the second of four planned EVAs to repair the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS), a particle-physics experiment on the exterior of the Station. AMS was not designed for on-orbit repair, presenting a challenge to ground crews and astronauts. Parmitano and Morgan installed a Mechanical Attach Device (MAD), which will serve as an attachment point for a pump box to be installed on the next EVA. They also vented, cut, and capped eight tubes that carry carbon dioxide coolant utilized by AMS. The time-lapse portion of the video is at 10 or 30 times normal speed.
