Ok. Berlin in the Flight Simulator, it doesn't look very good. Still I wanted to create a tribute video, dedicated to the city of Berlin, the city I live in. The video is separated in 3 parts, Berlin at night, Berlin at daylight, and Schönefeld, which gets a special part here. It may get the new name BBI (Berlin Brandenburg International), but for us Berlin people, it will always remain Schönefeld. Simply because the airport is not in Berlin. This is why Berlin people will always love Tegel (EDDT/TXL), and prefer flying from/to there. It's in Berlin, as simple as that. Now that they planned to close Tegel, and build this huge and overly expensive BBI airport, is one of the most discussed political and economical topics in Berlin. Berlin Tegel rocks and BBI Schönefeld sucks, as simple as that. Depending on the destination, for Berlin citizens it takes more time to get to Schönefeld, than the flight actually lasts. It's a mess. More than that, they seem unable to get the airport done properly and on time. Now what I heard last is, they cannot finish it until early 2016. It was due to be done already years ago. Enough whining, the airport gets what it deserves. This video.
