I can happily say I decided to get fully on board with st after watching discovery and just ? Falling in awe? I went in blind and got slapped in various directions and now idk who I am. But anyways, I started this a few weeks ago and I managed to not give up half-way even after changing the song a few times and I am so proud of myself. I hope to edit more of these guys and their story in my head is just djdjdjd everything. Following the events of season 1 — while attempting to escape the Cheron via shuttle, Sonia gets sucked into the network/warp rift and travels intervals alongside Discovery. Unknowingly by the crew, she is blasted elsewhere, eventually and fortunately being found by the ship before being sucked into a black hole. As a result of prior events, she suffers from selective amnesia and trauma and is haunted by dismay after her goal of killing Gabriel Lorca back on Terra Firma was robbed. She is taken in by the crew of the prime universe and being kept a watchful eye. Being a member of Terran Starfleet, she is in ways one of their own but it is still complicated given the situation. Going into the midst of season 2, she is now assigned to be taken care of by Mr. Spock under Captain Pike's order as he studies her mindset and the anomaly in her blood samples. At this time Sonia would slowly and accidentally begin to catch Spock's "personal" attention as he is still recovering from his own trials. She takes notes and keeps her own tabs on him from a secret POV. While this could be a ruse and he is ready to intervene, she thanks him at any chance she gets for rescuing her and making sure she is okay. Sonia would admit at one point that she is afraid and nervous being in a strange new universe — A better universe, and she rather not be alone. This happens to reach The Captain, as "Emperor" Phillipa is operating in Section 31 and remains the way she is, Sonia is a different personality to take on. He notices the glances and little teases between her and Spock, it concerns him because she is of an unknown origin and he can’t risk more trouble. Pike would soon order Spock to perform the unpredictable and go inside her mind to see what is up with the new girl next door, Miss Sonia Navarro. Unknowingly to Spock, Pike has taken a liking to her from afar and rather cancel out those conflicting emotions with some type of nasty truth if any. But will that be enough? Late season 3, at them vs Control, Sonia takes every chance she can get to protect the crew, same with Spock who in closed doors is impressed by Sonia’s agility and efforts to take on a now control-infested Captain Leland of Section 31. Spock proved he was ready to die when Sonia was struck by the parasitic Captain and Pike’s theory was correct about them. To their luck, Spock is able to successfully perform the Vulcan mind meld onto Sonia, revealing things from her “past life” and that she is in fact only half-human / half-babylonian (An all-female ancient species and class of “space vampire” or “cosmic siren” if you’d put it, believing to be extinct in the prime universe. Not to be confused with a Salt Vampire). While Spock is the last person to indulge in xenophobic behavior as she is not fully human like he, they rather run more tests and study her — with her permission of course.
