This is the awesome title track from the Limited Edition album 'And Not Or' which was given away 'free' with the first few copies of the album 'For To Next' in 1982. These albums saw Hillage move to the revolutionary 'Steinberger' headless/cricket bat guitar & the different tones to that of the Fender Strat are evident immediately. At the time of its release 'And Not Or' went relativly unnoticed while 'For To Next' was slated by original fans of Hillages work due to the heavy use of Synthasizers, Sequencers & Drum Machines (the early DNA of System 7). However more recently both albums have received long over due praise for Hillages supersonic guitar playing which is evident on most tracks on both albums. For To Next was a Vocal album while And Not Or was all instrumental. A Recent CD release saw both albums put together remastered however CD prices for it now are well over £30.
