The Central Board of Film Certification has awarded the Children Future Film for the movie Vannathu Poochi. Interestingly, this certificate has been awarded by the Censor Board after many years. Speaking about Vannathu Poochi, its director and producer Azhagappan C, said that the film has dealt with the relationship between a grandfather and granddaughter and Vannathu Poochi how the present lifestyle plays havoc in their lives. Azhagappan said that many school principals have shown keen interest in exhibiting the film to their students. Plans are also on to showcase Vannathu Poochi to children at subsidiary rates. The director added that the film will take part in all the Children’s Film Festival across the globe. Vannathu Poochi is slated for September end release, he notified.
