bla287's video: Europe according to a German

@Europe according to a German
After watching and enjoying a lot of "Europe according to..." videos lately, I decided to make my own ;) Of course this is an exaggerated and controversial video which reflects stereotypes so don't take it too seriously. If this video gets somewhat good reception (over 50% likes and over 10000 views) then I might make a world edition! (EDIT3: World edition is currently in preparation and I might release it earlier than planned, so stay tuned!) EDIT: Of course someone had to make a false copyright claim. The musical composition is PD because Beethoven is long dead and it was played by the US Navy band, therefore it still is PD (downloaded from here: http://www.navyband.navy.mil/anthems/all_countries.htm) EDIT2: Yeah, copyright problem successfully resolved! EDIT3 (2012-07-06): Wow, never thought this would get over 40K views! ======================================================== FAQ (Read this first before commenting!): Q: "You put Norway as anti-German. Why?" A: This is because I tend to compare similar countries to each other, in this case Norway vs. Sweden. Both very similar countries regarding history, language, ethnics, politics and so on. Now I've almost never read any hate comments from Swedes against us Germans but quite a few from Norwegians, so I figured that Norway is more anti-German than Sweden and I guess this has to do with the occupation during WW2. Of course this is an exaggeration, just like almost all in this video. Oh, and maybe I've just come across the wrong people (?) Q: Why is Bulgaria "more Russia" when they were the first to use Cyrillic and so on? A: To us Western Europeans, Russia has by far more significance (in the media etc) than Bulgaria or other Eastern European states so if we see another Slavic language also written in Cyrillic, we tend to think "Must be some derivation/dialect of Russian, right?" because Russian is some sort of "standard" in that case. Q: Why is Portugal Brazil? A: It's a joke. Mainly because of 1) Similarly to Bulgaria/Russia in the above case, Brazil has more significance even though we know that Portugal colonised Brazil and so on. 2) I've seen "Mexico" on Spain in many similar videos, so I figured that putting "Brazil" on Portugal is the only logical consequence :P Q: What about the Baltic countries? Didn't you Germans occupy them for centuries and now you're ignorant to them, WTF? A: Well, it's a returning joke from other "Europe according to..." videos I reused, in which Baltic countries are usually considered unknown terrain. And it's not even far off, we hear almost NOTHING in our news/media about those countries, don't ask me why (I guess it's because they still have a very balanced state budget so we don't have to worry about them :)) Q: What's with Poland? Always had so bad relations? A: Not always, in fact there was lot of exchange in the days before there were national states. For example in the Middle Ages, there were Polish soldiers in the armies of the German Order and also majority-German speaking cities opposing and fighting the German Order along with Polish Kingdom. Also there was good exchange among the revolutionists of 1848. But every since after WW2, we've kinda grown to love to hate each other, if that makes any sense.
