Dolphin rev 7719 (x64) CPU: Intel Q9300, 4x2.5 GHz Graphics Card: NVidia GT 130 Enhancements used (DirectX 9 plugin): - Doubled internal resolution (1280x1056) - 9xSSAA anti-aliasing - 16x anisotropic filtering - Display resolution 1440x1080 Recorded with Fraps, the enhanced video at 5fps and the normal "GC quality" video at 15fps, both were sped up to 30fps and synced frame by frame Video was encoded as lossless h.264 with x264, audio was encoded as lossless FLAC, both stored in an MKV container (it turns out the video has 2,94 MBit/s after Youtube recomporession - which is more than enough for this video) Quite impressive how a 5 year old game can look like with some enhancements especially if you consider that it was designed for 480p resolution (polygons and textures) and for a 2002 console (first tech demo in 2000!) which BTW runs with a 485MHz processor! So just imagine what abilities the WiiU will have! (I can't wait for the upcoming Zelda game after Skyward Sword!) Unfortunately it runs VERY slowly with all the enhancements (it's about time to get a better CPU and gfx card I guess), though it works well if the internal res is left at native (640x528) and 9xSSAA on OR if the internal res is set to "window" (1440x1080) and AA turned off. If I set internal res to window (1440x1080) AND use 9xSSAA (which looks even better) then the frame rate will be around 3fps which is unfortunately less than the minimum frame limit which can be set in Dolphin (=10VPS or 5fps), this makes recording impossible because the frame rate will be variable. Also take into consideration that the right screen isn't recorded off an actual GC but emulated as "GC quality". The actual quality would be even lower when recorded from a real GC because it's usually only connected to a TV via low quality composite analog video while this here is a direct digital and unmodulated copy. So this is the theoretical maximum which one could get out off a GC, the closest you can get to that is using component instead of composite cables.
