bladesociety's video: Rapido Realismo Kali Single Sword Eskrima Flow

I belong to the FMA organization Rapido Realismo Kali (RRK), under Grandmaster Henry Espera and Batikang Guro Isagani Abon. What attracted me most about RRK is its non-restrictive nature, as it does not hinder the personal growth and development of each member - it identifies each person's strengths, and builds his training around these strengths to fortify and supplement them. Of course, each student has to go through the same set of fundamentals training. After he learns and assimilates the base RRK movements and principles, he is free to add his own movements/flavor to his personal style. For example, if he is a grappler, he remains primarily a grappler, but complemented with a stronger and well-rounded melee weapons background. The masters of the art, Mang Henry and Guro Isagani, even move a little differently from each other, for they each have a personal preference for the 3 arts that influenced the creation of the system: Automatic Arnis, Orabes Heneral Eskrima, and Kalis Ilustrisimo. Of note is the strong western boxing background of both masters, which inspired the potent empty hands system of RRK called "Sabakan". For this freedom of personal development, I am forever grateful.
