Sink the Bismarck The Bismarck was a fearsome machine of war and remains one of the most famous ships in history. Much of the British navy was dedicated to sinking it even before Operation Rheinubung and the Battle of the Demark Strait. The battle cry "Sink the Bismarck" inspired a nation which eventually was able to put her down on May 27, 1941. At Nats 2013, the Axis fleet had two Bismarck class battleships. The Allies worked them over and ended up doing quite a bit of damage over the course of the week.
