Having access to a 360 camera without Ambisonics audio I was left to create 360 audio with a mono Rode SmartLav+ lapel mic... That's right, this whole video is from MONO audio, however, it's been panned and placed around the room in 360 spherical audio space. This is my entry into Rode's "My Rode Reel 2019" short film competition for the Virtual Reality Genre. They highlighted that VR provides the opportunity to make incredible content that envelopes the viewer in sight, sound and possibilities. This is what I hope to have achieved by having 3 of myself in the room at once, the Dolby Atmos speakers fire all around you as you watch as well as sights of the locations at frame stage and post plaster whilst our house was being built teleporting you to a time in the past!
