She is best known for her television roles as Mary Stone on the sitcom The Donna Reed Show (1958–1963) & as Christine Armstrong on the sitcom Coach (1989–1997), of which the latter earned her two Primetime Emmy Awards nominations. "Johnny Angel" is her debut pop single which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her cover version of the song was recorded in the fall of 1961 & was released in 1962 on the Colpix label. The song was originally recorded by both Laurie Loman & Georgia Lee but those two versions were not successful. I was looking for an outfit to match my shoes when I came across this piece of garment in my mum’s wardrobe, too short to be a dress & too long to be a top.
