The side rails for the Super 27 cost around $140 CDN per pair but that's a small price to pay for ten more years on your system. When the wood stove has over fired or rust has developed on some of the parts as shown here, it becomes necessary to change the parts out to keep it burning safely and to extend the lifetime of the system. Depending on where you live, you likely have to have your wood burning system inspected every year for insurance purposes anyway, so the inspector tends to also advise you of any necessary repairs.
