capprecords's video: Dub Wreckerz - Poltergeist Video Mix

@Dub Wreckerz - Poltergeist (Video Mix)
Hailing from the epicenter of dubstep—the British Midlands—come Dub Wreckerz. Weaving a new pathway for the future of the genre, this duo consists of two sellar musical forces pushing the boundaries where others don't dare. The UK's Martin Stack and Mark Gamble explode with new dimensions of creativity, swirling through the evolutionary change of beats and bass. Martin's background as a DJ/producer/songwriter with roots in soul, funk, and hip-hop gives him keen insight into what works on the dance floor, while Mark has been part of some of the hottest dance projects, including Krush House Arrest and Rhythmatic Take Me Back. What makes Dub Wreckerz unique is their ability to harness the strange but potentially symbiotic relationship between two seemingly opposing musical elements: commercial and underground. Some might find it a bit like mixing oil and water, but the boys are the emulsifier in that mixture, making these two opposing ingredients work together in harmony—and it truly is the magic behind this album: Dub Wreckerz' The Secret Hidden Album. With this, their first album, Dub Wreckerz bring you a collection of some of the most delicious dubstep cuts to hit the scene. With its carefully-crafted progression, we suggest listening to it old skool style: start with Track 1, crank it up, sit back, and let the beats flow over you one by one. Of course, we know you won't be sitting still for long. We start with Blue Lights, that blends the twisted sounds of dubstep with heartfelt, pop-infused choruses that drop hard and fast back to the beats. Reggae Bass is next-up—one of several of the tracks on the album that successfully brings classic hardcore dubstep rhythms and synth hits to the smoky sounds of the Caribbean party scene. Insomnia 2k13 blends some classic sounds with dubstep beats and the vocals of global dance artist Cary August. Never Leave You slows things down a BPM or two (or 20!), while Dance for Me steers things in a decidedly pop direction with lush vocals and solid songwriting for which vocalist DJ Skillmaster is known. With Tell Me What You Looking At, we head right back into the blend of dubstep and island sounds so rich you can practically feel that toke taking its effect! We keep kickin' back withThe Theme, and Selector—which advises (smartly) to "turn it up." With I Like Bass, we starting ramping things back up and heading more underground, while Avalanche keeps us heading to more aggressive territory. Nuclear Attack is an in-your-face statement musically and lyrically, while Digital Revolution twists its way around, successfully blending the 8-bit sounds of classic gaming with dubstep's dropping rhythm hits and up-front synths. Wrapping-up this incredible musical journey is Poltergeist, a hard-hitting, wild ride of a track that's the perfect choice to wrap-up the musical journey that is The Hidden Secret Album.
