@Homemade Butterfly Feeder (PART 2 of 2)

I made this out of an empty glue-stick container. It's filled with foam drenched in sugar water (to simulate nectar) as I turn the glue-stick, the pressure forces the foam to compress and the sugar water fills the flower. As the butterfly drinks the sugar water in the flower reservoir, I can turn the glue-stick to refill it. Here, I am feeding one of the male Monarch Butterflies that my students raised from an egg.
