Back on this lovely railway again, this time for a couple of days out enjoying the Scottish Push Pull 47, beautifully restored by Locomotive Services of Crewe which was just one highlight of the gala. To add to the Scottish theme class 37 / 4 locomotives came and were used to double head some trains as well as the railways own class 37 and 20. Also there was a class 14 diesel Hydraulic locomotive visiting and Vulcan the railways own 0-6-0 diesel electric is seen working on the shuttle service. Lots of on board views from Friday and arrivals and departures from Saturday.
