Great Western Castle class 4-6-0 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe hauled a charter train from Birmingham. The train was then taken to the yard for servicing and the locomotive ran with its support coach to North Yard and back to the turntable which looked to work well. I had been told on my last visit it was out of order and required some heavy repair work. It had got dark by the time the train left for Birmingham, I decided to stay and see it and quite pleased I did.
