Black 5 class steam locomotive 44871 brought the York Yule Tide Express from Norwich. It later ran to Southall West London while the return charter was diesel hauled. Before heading back 44871 was serviced in North Yard then ran to the turntable and came back along the Avoider to join the main line for it's return South.
