Easiest way to get high voltage from crt monitor or tv flyback transformer. We need only two components: flyback transformer, and electronic transformer for halogen light. Halogen transformer are good for this operation because they works on very high frequency about 40kHz - 60kHz, and gives AC voltage. Also they have some good protection. In this circuit I have used speedy te-0070 c101 halogen transformer, specification can be found here: http://www.tridonic.com/ru/download/data_sheets/DS_TE-C_101_speedy_en.pdf If you want better performace, I recommend to use higher power transformer, above 100W of power.
