While it was initially praised as being the opposite of the sort of speech Michelle Obama would give, the GOP quickly realized that they had their feet jammed in their mouths on this one. The following day, we were all confronted with a number of excuses. Chris Christie explained that it wasn’t plagiarism because she only copied a small portion of the speech. The RNC offered the infamous “My Little Pony” defense. The Trump campaign has not yet apologized for getting ahead in the traditional white person way (by stealing from intelligent black people). But they don’t need to say anything, because Snoop Dogg has spoken. In a video posted Tuesday, Snoop cleared up the whole situation. It’s all so simple, really.
