Ambition, Determination, Cunning, Self-Preservation, Resourcefulness, Cleverness, Fraternity, Loyalty. "brave. but not stupid" •••• "Throw me to the wolves and I'll come back leading the pack." I think those two quotes describe the most my perfect and so underestimated and misunderstood house. Slytherins, we are brave but not stupid, we prefer to think twice of all situation before jumping into battle. we have the resourcefulness to take care of ourselves in any situation the world put us into. we are cunning, wise, determinate to achieve our goals, strong enough to reach them and fearless enough to play by and against the rules we don't recognize. we don't follow leaders, we are the leaders we choose. we manipulate wars and soldier as pawns on chessboard. we are loyal and true to the one we recognize as ours. we protect each other. we are family. yes there's evil in our house but there is in all the three others as well ! we are misjudged, misunderstood and underestimated. we are capable of good, even more than you if you accept to see the truth that we keep real secret. we love for life and we're ready to die and fight for it no matter what. we choose our battle, that doesn't mean we are cowards, it means we're wise. we don't fight battles we don't believe in and don't struggle wars without plan. we could rule the world if you let us, 'cause we learn how to play the game and even grown masters in the art of cheating it. manipulation isn"t necessarily a bad thing, because sometimes it can save other lives, win wars. we are cold-blooded but not without hearts ! the tale needed a evil monster but know that even the scariest monster, has a heart, a soul and fights for a reasons. don't judge it guilty because you're so sure to be right ! 'cause the truth is, no one is. we're all right and wrong. there lots of truth and lots of lies, as many as there will be living beings in this world. don't confuse our ego with yours. we know our value, don't be jealous that we do. start doing it for yourself instead. you'll discover that in the end, we are much alike. ____________________________________________________________________ OKAY ! this it a letter that I've written as an advocacy of my house that so sadly is misunderstood and misjudged. when people like this house it's because of the evil badass facts but this house is so much more !! I'm so proud of my house seriously and not because I'm a death eaters fan ! our element is water guys, it means we see the world better, and we feel it deeper than everybody. if most of slytherins are bad it's because they choose to listen the dark side of them but we all have it inside. we know how to survive but it doesn't mean we don't see things, quite te contrary ! anyway ! I'm so proud to be sorted into Slytherin ! I've made the test 5 times ! when I was honest I've always been sorted into Slytherin and the only time I wasn't it was Ravenclaw but I cheated on my answers. at the beginning I was so ashamed to be sorted in this house because of the bad reputation and all but seriously I was so foolish 'cause I learned to discover that actually it's an honor to be named as Slytherin ! it means that we are strong, born leaders, clever and brave ! people have prejudices about ambition and the cunning but it allows us to go beyond ourselves, to achieve our goals ! it means that we have enough of courage to take what we want no matter how hard it can be or being said "wrong" to want it. I'm proud of being Slytherin 'cause it means that I'm not scared of desiring what I dream of, to fight for it, to seek it even if peoples tell me it's wrong. I'm just proud of being me and that's what it means to be Slytherin ! So people out there, if you too are Slytherins, don't be ashamed of it ! Wear our colors with pride ! Be proud of how you are ! Adn know that you'll always be understood among your pairs, my fellows !
