She is more well-known for participating in the 八大巨星 (Eight Superstars) 1999 album: 拱照北京城大團圓, along with the 2001 and Hokkien 2002 albums. However, she is also a solo artist. Excluding 八大巨星 albums, Melissa works with 2 companies: one being 雅歌 (Ya-Ko) and the other being 金碟豹 (Golden Leopard). This is the 5th song from the 山地风 (Mountain Earth Wind) album. IDK who the other girl in the video is. The MV was originally created 雅歌; however, 金碟豹 (Golden Leopard) mass-produced their VCDs and released these videos in HD on their DVDs. The 金碟豹 VCD was probably released in 1998 or 1999, and the DVD was released in 2003. Personally, I think both companies did a great job with this album :). This is a classic 河南民歌 (Hunan Folk song) sung by various singers which includes 邓丽君 (Teresa Teng), 卓依婷 (Timi Zhuo), and 周璇 (Zhou Xuan).
