Thanks to Matt for helping me test this idea. Having a second viewpoint doesn't add a whole lot, because it's just not easy to incorporate that data into your situational awareness. I think if there were more players and more going on, then the second camera would be more useful. It would show things outside of view, and one could see, for instance, which side of the field they were heading down, or whatever. With just two players though, there's not enough going on that a second camera is useful. I'll keep tweaking ideas. Maybe put a "digital" in-game camera on the end of a tank turret or something, that would be a cool perspective.
