Athearn announced a new release of GP38-2's in their Genesis product line. This release will feature Illinois Central Gulf paint in both the orange and white and orange and gray schemes. Both of these locomotives were former Gulf Mobile & Ohio units and were repainted after the merger. Athearn released GP38-2s about 3 years ago and included GM&O. The prototype photos in the video are property of ck7813 Preorders for the GP38-2s must be submitted to your authorized Athearn dealer by July 31, 2020.
