(( Watch in HD & Read More -- )) I keep getting requests to do makeup for beginners, so I think it's good to start off with the basics. Everyone has a different way of doing their smokey eye makeup, and I wanted to share how I learned out how to figure out my (non-existent) crease. Yes, It looks ridiculous, but if you are not aware or comfortable with your features, I think this is a great method to begin with. I am planning to do a small series of various holiday looks and thought this basic and minimalistic look could be a great start for the series. I didn't want to slap on the usual thick eyeliner because I wanted to keep the look as light and minimal as possible. I'm not going for a 'glamorous' or 'seductive' smokey look - I want to keep it as minimal and clean as possible. If you feel like the eye area is too bare, you can use false eyelashes to soup up the look.
